Dan Sigrist is a Colorado native who loves nature, world cultures, and travel to remote locations. The majority of his work has been shot in the Colorado high country. In addition to his work in the United States, he has shot on location in Thailand, Mexico, Rwanda, Tanzania, and South Africa. In 2008, he will be relocating to Beijing, China to expand his portfolio further.
Dan shoots with a Nikon Digital SLR camera and Nikon Lenses. He uses image stabilization technology and tripods to ensure that image quality and sharpness are of the highest quality. He wants to make sure that the beauty he sees in the viewfinder is the same beauty that appears on the final print.
It doesn't matter if Dan is meeting new people in a far away country or if he is enjoying the quiet of a mountain top; he is always looking for the next "capture."
